This notice explains clearly which information we process when you use Motorista pre-registration, why we use it, and the choices available to you.

Information we collect
When you register, we process your email address and your selection of vehicle owner or TVDE driver. If you continue with Google, we may receive basic account information that Google shares with your permission, such as your email address, name, and profile image.
We may keep session, verification, device, and technical log information to operate the service securely. We process analytics data only when your cookie choice allows it.
Why we use it
We use your information to create and verify your account, record your interest in the role you selected, secure access to the service, and keep you informed about Motorista availability.
These activities rely on providing the service you request, our legitimate interests in security, and your consent where required. We do not send optional marketing unless you have separately agreed to receive it.
Service providers and transfers
We use Supabase for authentication and data storage, Resend for verification email, Vercel for hosting, and Google sign-in when you choose it. Google may provide analytics features that you have consented to.
These providers may process information outside the European Economic Area. Where a transfer occurs, we require applicable contractual and technical safeguards. We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
We retain pre-registration and account information while your registration is active, while it is needed to inform you about the service, or while legal and security obligations continue. We delete or anonymise information that is no longer needed.
Authentication and security logs are kept for shorter, need-based periods to prevent misuse and investigate incidents.
Your rights
You may have the right to access, correct, or delete your information; restrict or object to processing; receive portable data where applicable; and withdraw consent you previously gave.
Send a request to hello@motorista.club. You can also complain to your local data protection authority or, in Portugal, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados.
Security and automated decisions
We verify account access with one-time codes or trusted identity providers and use reasonable technical and organisational measures to limit access.
This pre-registration service does not use solely automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects about you.

We update this policy when the service or our processing changes, show the new date here, and provide appropriate notice of material changes.
