Cookie Policy

1. What they are and how to choose

Cookies and local storage are small files or records saved on your device. Strictly necessary ones work without consent. Analytics ones are only switched on if you click "Allow analytics" in the cookie notice.

You can change your choice at any time through the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer of every page. Withdrawing consent is as easy as giving it. You can also delete cookies in your browser settings. We keep your choice for 6 months; after that we ask again. If we start using these technologies for other purposes, we ask for your choice again before switching them on.

2. Strictly necessary

Sign-in session (sb-…-auth-token cookies, Supabase): keep you signed in and protect your account. Duration: while the session is active, up to 400 days.

Language (NEXT_LOCALE): stores your chosen language. Duration: until you close the browser.

Account area theme (motorista-console-theme): stores the light or dark theme. Duration: 1 year.

Team preferences (motorista-ops-reviews-v2): stores filters in the internal Operations area; team only. Duration: 1 year.

Investor area access (presentation session cookie): only for people with an access code. Duration: the access session.

Record of your cookie choice (motorista.analytics_consent and motorista.anonymous_id, in local storage): store your choice and a random identifier used to record it. Duration: 6 months.

Form drafts (session storage): stop you losing what you typed when you change page. Duration: until you close the tab.

Abuse protection (Cloudflare Turnstile): checks that public forms are used by people. It does not set cookies on our domain; Cloudflare processes technical browser signals for this check.

Card payment confirmation on our pages (__stripe_mid and __stripe_sid cookies, Stripe): set only when you confirm a card payment on a Motorista platform page, to prevent fraud. Duration: 1 year and 30 minutes respectively.

Error reports (Sentry, servers in the European Union): when a page fails, the browser sends a technical report (page, browser and error), without IP address, cookies or form content, so that we can fix the failure and keep the service secure.

3. Analytics (only with consent)

Google Analytics 4 (_ga and _ga_<ID> cookies, Google Ireland Limited): measure visits and interactions in aggregate; we do not use Google's advertising features. Duration: up to 13 months. Google LLC may access the data from the United States; for the safeguards that apply to these transfers, see section 5 of the Privacy Policy.

Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights (Vercel): measure visits and page performance without setting cookies.

Motorista platform usage events (motorista.session_id in local storage and events sent to our servers): help us understand how the product is used. Session identifier duration: until the end of the visit.

Performance measurement (Sentry): on a sample of 5% of visits, records how long pages take to load and respond. It does not set cookies.

4. Third-party pages

When you pay or save a card, you are taken to Stripe's secure page, which uses its own cookies to process the payment and prevent fraud (stripe.com/legal/cookies-policy). When you sign in with Google, Google's cookie rules apply.
